Sonic Torc Series IV
Description
Sonic Torc Series IV powershift transmission fluid is designed to meet the Caterpillar TO-4 service specifications. It is also formulayed to meet Allison C-4, Komatsu Micro Clutch, and API-CF performance.
Sonic Torc Series IV M/S has all the qualities of Sonic Torc Series IV, and offers unsurpassed shear stability (shear loss of 8.8 in 20 hour KRL test) and the added advantage of multi-season performance.
Application
Sonic Torc Series IV transmission-drive train oils (TDTO) are designed for use in Caterpillar off-highway vehicles. The SAE grades 10W, and 30 offer the equivalent performance of Caterpillar's TDTO. The multi-season product is formulated to match the performance of Caterpillar's TDTO (TMS).
Sonic Torc Series IV is recommended for use in:
- Powershift and hydrostatic transmissions
- Wet brake mechanisms
- Differentials and final drives
