Sonic MP Gear Oil

Description
Sonic MP Gear Oil is formulated with CGT (clean gear technology) to reduce deposits, and increase fluid and gear life. It is an ashless oil designed to eliminate chemical reactions with yellow metals such as brass. SONIC MP Gear Oil provides superior lubrication in passenger cars, farm equipment, light and heavy duty trucks, off-highway equipment and industrial gear applications.
Application
Sonic MP Gear Oil is recommended for use in any application requiring a heavy duty, extreme pressure gear lubricant. It is approved for API Service GL-5 and meets the performance of MIL-PRF-2105E. Special additive chemistry also makes it suitable for top up and complete refill of limited slip differentials.
Two common gear types found in the transmissions and differentials of tractors are bevel and spur gears. Higher horsepower delivered through smaller gears increases tooth pressure in both types and may cause a heat build-up. High temperatures and wiping action can cause rapid wear unless an extreme pressure (EP) additive is present in the lubricant. SONIC MP Gear Oil has this additive in it to help prevent this kind of operational wear.
Performance Features
- Extreme pressure additives to provide GL-5 Service
- Formulated for complete refill of limited slip differentials
- Non-foaming
- Water tolerant (excellent for applications where water contamination may occur)
- Exceptional oxidation stability for reduced formation of gear deposits under high operating temperatures
- Superior gear protection under high loads
