Sonic ATF (Dexron III/Mercon)

Description

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) Type H is an automatic transmission fluid designed for use in vehicles requiring a Dexron III or Mercon qualification.

Application

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) Type H can be used as a service fill or top-off in transmissions where a Type A/G, Dexron, Dexron II, Dexron III, or Mercon fluid is requested.

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) Type H is recommended for use in automatic transmissions for engines in General Motors, Ford, and most Chrysler vehicles. A number of other manufacturers including Accura, AMC/Renault, Audi, BMW, Chrysler/Jeep, Eagle, Nissan/Datsun, Mazda, Subaru, Toyota, Infinity, Volkswagon, Fiat, Honda, Hyundai, Peugoet, Isuzu, Jaguar, Porscche, Saab, Suzuki, Alfa Romeo, and Volvo also specify Dexron III in most of their automatic transmissions.

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) Type H continues to be recommended for use in vehicles requiring a fluid meeting GM 6137-M, Ford ESP-M2C/138-C, and Ford ESP M2C/66-H specifications for a Dexron III / Mercon type fluid. In addition, this fluid also meets Ford's new Mercon specification for automatic transmissions in Ford vehiclesbeginning with the 1988 model year. For some models of Chrysler calling for a MS7176 specification or all models of Ford calling for a Mercon V fluid, Sonic ATF (Dexron III / Mercon) should only be used as a top-off fluid. The owners manual should be consulted to ensure use of the correct fluid.

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) Type H also meets the requirements for Allison's C3/C4 specification for transmission / torque converter fluids, Allison V-730D for GM bus and coach and is Caterpillar TO2 approved.

Oxidation stability prevents formation of varnishor gum on transmission parts even under high temperature operating conditions

Anti-foam agent to maintain positive response in the transmission

Corrosion preventative to protect transmission parts

Sonic ATF (Dexron*III / Mercon**) is available in 205 litre & 110 litre drums, 20 litre pails, 4 litre jugs (4 per case), 1 litre and 500 millilitre bottles (12 per case).
